Asad Mahmood, in a dark jacket

Hey, I'm Asad I help businesses make more money with software that actually works. I build web apps, AI tools and automations that take companies online and save them hundreds of hours.

Featured case study

A finance team was hand-keying roughly 900 supplier invoices a month from PDFs of wildly varying quality. An extraction pipeline with a human review step removed most of the typing without removing the oversight.

How Can I Help You?

Four ways I work with businesses. Most conversations start with AI right now — and often grow into one of the others once we find what's really slowing you down.

  • Most requested

    Put AI to Work

AI that reads your documents, answers your customers and drafts your busywork — measured against your real data, not a demo.

  • Automate Your Operations

The repetitive work eating your week — invoicing, reporting, data entry — running itself while you sleep.

    More on automation
  • Build Your Web App

Custom software built around how your business actually works — not how a template thinks it should.

  • Take Your Business Online

A fast, findable website that turns visitors into enquiries — and gives you full ownership of it.

Where most people start

AI that survives contact with your actual business

Most AI projects die the same way: they demo brilliantly, then meet real documents, real customers and real edge cases, and quietly get switched off within a month.

I build the other kind. Every project runs alongside your existing process first, so you get a real accuracy number on your own data before anything goes live — and a human stays in the loop wherever a mistake would actually cost you.

  • Document extraction

Invoices, contracts, forms and applications read automatically — including the phone photographs and the bad scans.

  • Support that answers itself

Assistants grounded in your own documentation, that hand over to a human the moment they're unsure.

  • Inbox triage

Enquiries classified, routed and acknowledged in seconds instead of sitting in a shared inbox until someone gets to them.

  • First drafts, not final answers

Proposals, summaries and routine writing drafted for a person to sharpen — the slow blank-page part removed.

Hey, I'm Asad Mahmood

I've been building software for over a decade — starting with scrappy projects as a teenager, then years of client work, and now AsadLabs.

Along the way I noticed something that still bothers me: the businesses that would gain the most from good software are usually the ones told they can't afford it. They get quoted six figures for something that should cost five, or handed a template that doesn't fit how they actually work.

So that's the whole idea here. Great software shouldn't be a luxury only big companies can afford. I work directly with owners, I explain things in plain English, and I'd rather tell you not to build something than take the money.

When I'm not building, I'm usually writing about this stuff, reading far too much about systems design, or being reminded by my family that not everything is a workflow problem.

Have a project in mind?

Let's talk about it. The call is free, the advice is honest, and there's zero pressure to work with me afterwards. Worst case, you leave with a clearer plan than you had.
